How much will the sessions cost? My standard fee for individuals is £40 per session. My standard fee for couples and family groups is £55 per session. Fees for company referrals are available on request.
How long is each session? Each session lasts 60 minutes.
Is your office 'clinical' like a room in a doctor's surgery? No, I work in an informal, relaxed space in a peaceful oak-framed 'barn style' building, overlooking woods and farmland.
How often are sessions held? Weekly sessions are often most effective initially. However I work flexibly to meet your specific needs.
Will I have to lie on a couch? No, we will each have a comfortable armchair.
When is telephone counselling useful? Telephone counselling can be helpful if you work away from home and it is difficult to arrange a regular weekly, face-to-face meeting.
What if I can't afford the standard fee? I offer low cost counselling for those in receipt of benefits and on low incomes.
Where will face-to-face sessions take place? The sessions take place in my home office near Hook, Hampshire, which is 7 minutes from M3 junction 5 and 15 minutes from M4 junction 11. Basingstoke, Fleet, Wokingham, Spencers Wood are 15-20 minutes away and Reading 25 minutes.
I offer individual counselling, couple counselling, family therapy and psychotherapy convenient for the borders of Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire. |
