Anger Management
Anger is a powerful emotion and can have a huge unmanageable impact on relationships, employment and
social situations. For people who find it difficult to manage their anger, life can feel very uncomfortable.
Often people find it hard to understand what causes their anger and can feel it is triggered without warning. Other words that people use to describe anger include; irritation,
annoyance, rage and fury.
I work with people who want to make changes to how they manage their reaction to feeling angry. I also help them explore the underlying reasons why they feel this way. I do this on a one-to-one basis in a supportive, non-judgemental environment. I work with men, woman, children and young people.
A key realisation can be understanding that anger is a natural emotion we all experience. It's not the emotion of anger that needs to change, rather our reaction to the anger.
Many people suffer this experience, a recent
YouGov poll found that 1 in 8 people say they have trouble controlling their anger and that 1 in 4 people worry about how angry they sometimes feel.
